| The Verde Independent Cottonwood, Arizona February 21, 2007 Dorothy O. Marks Dorothy Olive Marks, 87, died Feb. 13, 2007, at her home in Camp Verde. Dorothy was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Lewiston, Maine, to the late Eva and Josephat Gregoire. Dorothy met her husband Bill on Whiskey Row in Prescott in 1954. A few years later in 1959 they moved to the Verde Valley where they have lived since. Dorothy worked as a homemaker and mother. She is survived by her husband, Bill W. Marks; her daughters, Ferne Dickenson and Donna Parker, and five grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 Bill Gray Road in Cottonwood. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family. |
