Michael L. Dragone, of Chino Valley, died Nov. 15, 2005, with his loving family at his side. He was born Jan. 4. 1956, in Manhattan, N.Y, the son of Michael E. and Carmela (Fruggio) Dragone. Michael was 49 years old.

Michael had been a truck driver for Hansson Enterprises for 20 years before his illness. He could spend hours on his computer or talking to his friends on the cell phone. He was a died-in-the-wool "pinstripe" fan (Yankees) with Mickey Mantle being his favorite player. He was most proud of his family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Karen. They were married Feb. 27, 1981; his sons, Michael of Phoenix, David of Prescott Valley; daughter, Katie (Michael) Adkins of Prescott Valley; brother, Armand of Phoenix; his father, Michael, also of Phoenix; two nieces and one nephew.

Family and friends will gather from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. A celebration of Michael's life will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 21, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home with a luncheon following in the Carriage House.

Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at the Chino Valley Cemetery.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home was entrusted with Michael's services.
