Larry Goodman, 68, of Palm Springs died May 25, 2005, in Palm Desert of melanoma.

He was born Feb. 16, 1937, to Everett Lee Goodman and Opal T. Allen in Prescott, Ariz.

He was a tax accountant for 42 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna Joyce Goodman of Palm Springs, whom he married on Nov. 12, 1956, in Elko, Nev.; a daughter, Connie Jo Calder of Carlsbad; three sons, Scott Dean Goodman of Houston, Shane Lee Goodman of Austin, Texas, and Steven Lynn Goodman of Los Angeles; five sisters, Jacquelyn Singleton of Riverton, Utah, Lynda Barney of Alpine, Utah, Lark Cyr of Prescott, and Sandra Dee Reid and April Baird of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, William H. Goodman of Gilbert, Ariz., and Rock T. Goodman of Prescott; his mother, Opal Allen of Prescott; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murtaugh LDS Chapel in Murtaugh, Idaho, with graveside services to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls, Idaho, with arrangements under the direction of White Funeral Home in Twin Falls.

The family suggests that donations be made to the USC Norris Cancer Hospital Melanoma Research Department in Los Angeles.
