Manuel C. "Bing" Coleman, 85, of Texas died on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Bonham, Texas. He was born in Twitty, Texas, on Oct. 1, 1923.

At the age of six months he moved to Arizona and remained a resident until his health forced him to move to Texas to be closer to his children. He was a veteran of World War II. A former resident of Prescott, Ariz., he worked as a boiler technician for 27 years at the Veterans Administration.

Mr. Coleman is survived by son James Coleman and his wife Deborah; daughter Mary Allison and her husband Glenn; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild .

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his mother, father and all of his brothers and sisters.

On Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, there will be a visitation at the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, Ariz., from 3 to 5 p.m. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the Cottonwood Cemetery. The VFW Post #7400 will provide Military Honors.
