Alta Dupire died on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, in Prescott Valley. She was born on Sept. 21, 1936, in Griffithville, Ark., the daughter of William and Lola (Bogan) Feather.

My Grams, she lived to infuriate and make you think. She loved to shop.
She had class and beauty, she was funny and sweet. She could be Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde, but she was loved and loved us. We were lucky and blessed to have her in our lives. We will forever be better people because of her. We will be strong because she wouldn't have it any other way. We won't forget to work hard and love each other. We will always love her.

Alta is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dupire, I love you Baby; her daughter, Debra Andrade, love you Mom; grandchildren, Lori Barren and Jennifer Mosher; great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Hannah Barren, Amy and Michael Mosher and Ila Stroh. We love you Gramsie; her daughter, Lori Hatfield; grandsons, Jesse and Jacob; great-grandson, Noah Hatfield; son, Richard L. Friend Jr. and grandson, Robbie.
