The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 16, 1938, p. 1 DEATH CLAIMS LOUIS CURTIS Word was received here Tuesday that Louis Curtis passed away Tuesday morning in a Los Angeles hospital. He had many friends in Wickenburg and had resided here a number of years. He operated a radio repair shop in the Tarbutton apartments for the past two years or more. Although Louis had been in ill-health for nearly nine years, he I had his first attack of illness soon after he arrived in Los Angeles, after which he gradually became weaker until the end came at 10:30 Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles Thursday and interment made in California. A large blanket of roses was sent from, his many friends here. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. George Ward, also an aunt on the coast. |
