The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 13, 1938, p. 1 TOT SUFFER FATAL INJURIES IN FALL Charles E. Sanders, three and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Sanders Chandler died Saturday morning of injuries suffered when he fell from a moving automobile 15 miles southeast of Wickenburg Friday night. The child was riding with his parents who were en route from Prescott to Chandler following a visit at the home of Mrs. W. J. Oliver, grandparents of the child. The boy either opened the door of the car or it accidentally flew open, Mrs. And Mrs. Sanders told Bryon L. Blackburn, state highway patrolman, who investigated the accident. The tot rolled 20 feet after falling through the open door, suffering a basal skull fracture, cuts and bruises. See Also: Find a Grave |
