J.D. FLOOD, VICTIM OF AUTO MISHAP DIES

J. D. Flood, 26-year-old Wenden resident died yesterday afternoon at 1:45 in the Wickenburg hospital as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident six miles east of Wenden early Wednesday morning.

Flood, who was employed on the Parker-Phoenix power line had attended a dance at Aguila Wednesday day night and was en route home. He evidently dozed at the wheel while the car went out or control and hit a cement abutment after traveling 300 feet on the shoulder of the highway.

Highway Patrolman "Lefty" Blackburn investigated the accident.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. William B. Sullivan, who with her husband resides her; also a brother' in Phoenix and a brother in Oklahoma.

Funeral services are pending.
