FORMER RESIDENT CLAIMED BY DEATH

According to a letter received this week, Tom V. Richards, 77 years old, passed away in the Queen of Angels hospital Los Angeles, on April 12, following a lingering illness.

For many years prior to his retirement in 1929, he had been engaged in the mining business, working at Bisbee, Vulture and the Monte Cristo mines.

He was very well known throughout Arizona, having resided here 30 years. During the past 10 years be has lived at the home of his daughter and family, Mrs. J. F. Sonneman, at North Hollywood, Calif.

Funeral services were conducted at North Hollywood on April 14.

Besides his daughter, Mrs. Sonneman; he is also survived by a son, G. B. Richards of Winslow, Ariz., and four grandchildren.
