| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 10, 1961 Hal Warner’s Aunt Dies In California Mrs. Glenn Warner, 92, of Palo Alto, Calif., an aunt of Hal Warner of Wickenburg, died in that city Friday morning of last week. Funeral services and burial were in Springville, N. Y., Monday. Mrs. Warner was the widow of “Pop” Warner, famed football coach who died several years ago. He coached at Carlisle Indian School in Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh, Temple University and Stanford University and went down in history as one of the great coaches of all time. |
