Hold Funeral For Dennis O. Roller

Dennis O. (Dan) Roller, Wickenburg resident for the past 17 years and a well known small mine operator, died in a Phoenix hospital last Saturday morning.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Wickenburg Chapel with the Rev. James B. Wilson, Presbyterian minister, officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery with the Veterans of Foreign Wars conducting graveside rites.

Mr. Roller, who was 74 years old, was born in Hanover, Pa. he was in the mining business in Arkansas, Texas and New Mexico before moving to Arizona 25 years ago. He resided in Globe and Aguila before coming here.

A former secretary-treasurer of the Arizona Small Mine Operators Association, Mr. Roller had mining properties in Arizona and in California.

During World War I Mr. Roller serviced in the Cavalry in France and was a past commander of the VFW Post here.

Surviving are the widow, Naomi Ruth Roller; one daughter, Anna Jane; and three sons, Robert, William and John. All except John, who resides in Yuma, live in Wickenburg. Three grandchildren also survive.
