Pearl Rose Bakondi, 89, of Phoenix, passed away on July 20, 2009 rejoining for eternity her beloved husband, Alexander Bakondi Sr. and her great grandsons, Orion and Evan and grandson Paul, who proceeded her in death. She was born in Chicago IL. March 13, 1920 to Charles and Suzanne Janey and married Alexander on June 3, 1939. The family moved to Phoenix in 1958 where Pearl was a devoted housewife and enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved cooking, knitting, crocheting, and doing bead work and continued it right up to the end. She is survived by sons Alexander Jr. (Barbara) Bakondi, Charles Bakondi, daughters Shelia Skiba(Marco), Sandra (Howard) Hughes, grandchildren Howard II, Shannon(Richard), Heidi, Adam, Holly(Matt), Jason(Andrea), Wendy, LaNesha, and Darren (Sadie), great-grandchildren Blaze, Madison, Garrett, Ghia, Khale, Anya, Jaden, and Aria. She had a wonderful life and will be deeply missed by all who loved her. GOD BLESS YOU MOM. Internment will be private arrangements by Advantage Funeral Services.
