| Marie G. Taney 1/11/1912 - 11/11/2008 Marie G. Taney passed away on November 11, 2008 at Mountain View Manor in Prescott, Arizona. She was 96 years old. She was born January 11, 1912 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Samuel & Marie (Kaplin) Taney. Marie married her sweetheart Louis E. Taney, they had two beautiful children together. Marie worked many different jobs including an Art Dealer, a Resteraunt owner, and a Real Estate Agent. She and her husband owned the first American Chinese Resteraunt in Alaska. Marie was a resident of Arizona for 40 years and previously of California. She greatly enjoyed owning different businesses and loved art and music. Her love of animals was great so please carry on the love and donate to a local shelter or organization. Marie is survived by loving husband Louis E. Taney of Prescott, Arizona; daughter- Marilyn Dow of Prescott, Arizona; sisters, Betty Voll of Redwood City, California; Dorothy Chapman of Puyallup, Washington; Lillian Steele of Tacoma, Washington; grandchildren- Pamela, Michaeljohn, Marieke, and Harlan.
