Patricia Lee Dillon Goodwin 1942 ~ 2003

Patricia Lee Dillon Goodwin, 61, returned to her Father in Heaven August 16, 2003, surrounded by her family, in Nampa, Idaho.

She was born June 8, 1942 in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter of Wallace J. Dillon and Venice M. Dillon.

She married Frederick V. Goodwin March 23, 1963 in Long Beach, Calif. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.

Patricia was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as Young Women counselor and teacher, Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, Relief Society teacher, and Cub Scout leader.

She attended David Starr Jordan High School, Long Beach, Calif. and graduated, 1960. She attended Stevens-Henegar Business College, two years, Ogden, Utah where she was secretary of the student body. She worked as a computer operator at Thiokol Corp., Utah, Northrup Aviation, Long Beach, Calif. and Fram Corp., Clearfield, UT. She lived in Long Beach, CA, Forest Falls, Calif., Flagstaff, Ariz., Prescott, Ariz., Green River, Wy., Layton, Utah, and Nampa, Idaho.

Patricia's family is her greatest joy and glory. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She will be with her family again soon. Her family includes husband of 40 years, Frederick V. Goodwin; son, Dustin V. (Jodi) Goodwin; daughters, Teresa L. Goodwin, Lisa L. (Gary) Gregerson, Melinda K. (David) Nelson, Diana (Chad) Schaffer, Denise (James) Newell; grandchildren, Katrina L. Goodwin, Ethan D. Goodwin, Alyssa L. Goodwin, April Goodwin-Walton, Kimberlee M. Goodwin-Walton, Steve S. Goodwin-Walton, Samuel L. Goodwin-Walton, Natasha A. Gregerson, Austin N. Gregerson, Kelsey L. Gregerson, Tyson V. Gregerson, Melina P. Nelson, Cade G. Schaffer, Cole A. Newell, Kyler J. Newell; sister, Pamela (Jim) Trimble; and mother, Venice M. Dillon. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace J. Dillon.

Viewing will be Tues. Aug 19, 6-8 p.m. Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N. Midland Blvd, Nampa. Funeral will be Wed. Aug 20, 11 a.m. LDS Chapel, 607 W. Locust Lane, Nampa, with a viewing prior to the service, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery, 2024 N. Illinois Ave, Caldwell, ID.
