The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, February 25, 2006 Vincent T. Hallett, age 82, died April 21, 2006 in Prescott, Ariz. He was born April 8, 1924 in Minneapolis,Minnesota to Lloyd Milton and Sylvia (Bourgerie) Hallett. Vince studied courses in journalism at the Univeristy of Minnesota. He owned a local radio station in Ely, Minn. Which was subsequently bought by Charles Kuralt. Vince was a fourth degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. Vince was a great friend to all who knew him. Vincent is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elaine Hallett of Dewey, Ariz.; daughters, Laura Hallett Peterson and Cathy Cashmer; brother, Keith Hallett; two sisters; grandson, Logan; and several nieces and nephews. A commemoration service in honor of Vincent will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott Valley, Ariz. With Chaplain Walter Crites officiating. In memory of Vincent, donations may be made at Summit Bank to Account #0210000733 in care of the Elaine Hallett Benefit Account. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
