Thomas W. Schermann, born June 14, 1929 in Flagstaff, Ariz. to Dr. Albert Herman and Pearl Regina (Muncy) Schermann.

Tom worked 37 years for Parke Davis, Warner Lambert and Becton Dickinson Companies.

He was a Korean war veteran serving in the U.S.N. as a combat pilot, 1950 to 1954.

Tom and his wife Marlene raised their family in Phoenix in St. Vincent DePaul Parish, then moved to Prescott in 1987. While in St. Vincent DePaul he was active in many areas, including school board, Parish council, men's council and St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years and sons, Thomas H. and Eric W; daughters, Kitty M., Bonnie L., Nancy M., Deborah S., Carolyn T., Jennifer L. and RebeccA A.; and 28 grandchildren: Tarra, Devon, Tommie, Kenneth, Keith, Kimberly, Challie, Amy, Matthew, Chelsy, Hannah, Joshua, Ashley, Danniell, TJ, Jesse Bailey, Mitchell, Nicholas, Michelle, Rachel, Alexandria, Shae Clare, Savannah, Matthew, Katie, Kyle and Kellie; 15 great grandchildren, Adap, Drake, Owen, Abigail, Madelynne, Noah, Samantha, Megan, Cattrin, Anya, Micah, Joshua, Sydney, Piper and Emma; two sisters, Mary Carolyn Mackey of Yuma, Ariz. and Regina Mason of Scottsdal, Ariz.; and many dear friends.

Tom loved to be with his family for camping, traveling and get togethers. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.

A Mass will be held on Friday, May 19 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott, Ariz. with Rosary preceding Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Following the service a gathering of friends and family will be held at 675 Mohave Trail, Dewey, Ariz.
