Eileen Reva (Patterson) Allen - Kilbourn

Eileen Reva Kilbourn, Prescott Valley, Arizona

Eileen Kilbourn went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2007. Eileen was born in Freeland, MI, the daughter of Donald W. and Vera Mae (Davis) Patterson. She grew up in Zilwaukee and was active in the Kochville United Methodist Church where in 1944 she was married to Lloyd G. Allen. They were divorced in 1971. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church of Saginaw. In 1974 she was married to Raymond Kilbourn. He died in 1976.

While her daughter was still at home, she moved back to Zilwaukee and rejoined the Kochville Methodist congregation. She remained active in congregational ministries until her retirement move to Prescott Valley, AZ in 1992. Although officially retired, she worked part-time helping others through Samaritan Care Companions for over five years.

In 2002, showing early signs of Alzheimer's, she moved first into assisted living and then to Prescott Valley Samaritan Center.

She is survived by her four daughters, Jenneth E. (Richard) Brucker, Susan J. Brooks of Boulder, CO; Kathryn A. Heriford of Hartwell, GA; and Karen M. Holliday of Prescott, AZ; she leaves six grandchildren, Drs. Eric and Noel Brucker of Broomfield, CO; Sarah (Thaddius) Shipley of Westminster, CO; Aaron Brucker of Longmont, CO; William D. (Jessica) Brooks III of Sante Fe, NM; Jeremiah L. Brooks of Midland, MI; and Julie M. Banfill of Scottsdale, AZ. Another grandson, Vicar Jason D. Brucker died in 1996. She was also blessed with three great-grandsons, Ethan, Luke and Adam, Brucker of Broomfield, CO.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kochville United Methodist Church on November 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers all are encouraged to make donations in Eileen's name to Prescott Valley Samaritan Center, Unit 2, 3380 North Windsong Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
