Bernice Frances Saverino

Bernice Frances Saverino - After a lengthy illness, loving wife, mother and grandmother, Bernice Frances Saverino passed away at 1:15 AM on July 4th, 2007.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years Salvatore Anthony Saverino; their daughter Michelle Eaton of Carlsbad, Calif.; son Mark Saverino of San Diego, Calif.; son Cassio Saverino of Peoria, Ariz.; son Frank Saverino of Peoria, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and two sisters: Isabel Bengford of Templeton, Iowa and Elizabeth Volz of Flushing, Michigan.

She and her husband moved to Chino Valley from Mahopac, NY in April of 1987. While living in Mahopac, she worked for the Patent-Trader Newspaper in Mount Kisko.

Since their arrival she has been very active in community service. A member of St. Catherine Laboures Roman Catholic Church, she was one of the cofounders and board member of the Chino Valley Victory literacy program, cofounder of the local St. Vincent DePaul Society, Treasurer of the Chino Valley Food Bank, coordinator of the AARP tax preparers program, and a member of the Chino/Paulden Ministerial Association.

A memorial service will be held in Chino Valley at St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Monday, July 16th, 2007.

Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution, please make out the check to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Chino Valley Foodbank, or the Chino/ Paulden Ministerial Association.

Beatrice Frances Saverino

After a lengthy illness, Beatrice Frances Saverino passed away at 1:15 a.m. July 4, 2007.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Salvatore Anthony Saverino; their daughter, Michelle Eaton, of Carlesbad, Calif.; son Mark Saverino, of San Diego, Calif., son Cassio Saverino, of Peoria, Ariz., and Frank Saverino, of Peoria, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Isabel Bengford, of Templeton, Iowa and Elizabeth Volz, of Flushing, Mich.
