Allison Edward (Al) Williams

Allison (Al) Edward Williams Jr., 77, of Williamson Valley, Prescott, a loving husband, father, grandfather and native Arizonan, passed away on Nov. 16, 2008. He was born May 13, 1931, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Allison Edward Williams Sr. and Crystal Mary (Super) Williams.

He was employed by APS for 35 years until his retirement up to Prescott with his devoted wife Nancy. Al was a veteran of the Armed Forces and he graduated from ASU with an engineering degree. Al never met a person or animal who didn't love him and his gentle soul. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.

Al is survived by his wife Nancy; brother John; six children; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the American Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Dr., Prescott, Ariz.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Ryan Lange Foundation, 6536 E. Hummingbird Lane, Paradise Valley, Ariz., 85253. Ryan was Al's grandson.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
