Rena A. (Cormier) Young

Rena A. Young, age 88, of Prescott, Ariz., died on July 9, 2006. She was born November 11, 1917, in Tupper Lake, N.Y.

Rena, a member of St. Germaine Church, was active in many areas as a volunteer. Rena was also a member of the Lay Carmelite Order.

Rena is survived by sons, Norman (Paula White) of Portage, Mich. and William of Cortland, Ohio; daughters, Dee of Prescott and Sr. Ann Rita Young of Sylvania, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.

Rena is preceded in death by her husband Norman Young; sisters, Rita Pagel and Evelyn Cunningham; and brothers, Leo and Clarence Cormier.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, July 13, 2006, from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz., with a Rosary to be held at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Resurrection in honor of Rena will follow at 10 a.m.

Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
