Asbury Park Press, Neptune, New Jersey Wednesday, August 10, 2005 ANNA E. GILLON, 59, of Sedona, Ariz., formerly of Freehold, died peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 6, at home. Born on July 23, 1946, in Irvington, Ms. Gillon graduated Red Bank High School in 1964, and worked as an administrative assistant at Bell Labs and AT&T Labs in Middletown, until she retirement in 2000. In 2001, she moved to Sedona. Throughout her life, Annie loved wildlife, especially birds, and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including crochet and basketry. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and her easygoing and caring nature led to many strong and lasting friendships. Surviving are her husband, Alex; two daughters, Julie Marchese of Nashua, N.H., and Jennifer DeMaria of Leonardo, Middletown; two stepchildren, Eric Gillon of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Nicole Rodgers of Cookeville, Tenn.; a brother, William Emmrich of Holmdel; and two grandchildren, Nora and Cody. In accordance with her wishes, services will be private. The family suggests that those wishing to remember Annie please make a contribution in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or to a charity of their choice. Greer's Mortuary of Sedona, Arizona, is in charge of arrangements. |
