The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, June 20, 2008 Thomas Wade Floyd, 50, of Camp Verde Arizona passed away on May 10, 2008 in Cave Creek, Arizona. Tom was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1957. He lived the majority of his life in Arizona and attended school in the Tempe area. One of Tom's passions was his love for construction. If you mentioned to him that you were doing a home project, not only would he tell you how to do it, but he would show up and help. If Tom was to have a resume' it would read,"I can do it all." "I can plan it ,build it, wire it, plumb it, paint it and even do the landscaping." His latest project along with his brother Norman was HGTV Flip this House. Together they assisted in remodeling a home in Ahwatukee. Survivors include a son Stephen, mother Edith Pitts, brothers John (LeeAnne) Brad (Becky) Norman (Sandy) sister Becky. He also leaves nieces, nephews and many friends. He will also be missed by his girlfriend Julie Tucker and her children Hayden and Haley. And last but not least his church in Camp Verde. Pastor Dean Principe was a special friend along with the wonderful family of church members. Tom was preceded in death two sons, Thomas and Michael. Services have been held. Bueler Funeral Home handled arrangements followed by interment at Middle Verde Cemetery. |
