The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, December 14, 2006 Janet Eillene Stringer Garcez, 68, of Camp Verde, Arizona, passed away on Dec. 08, 2006. Janet enjoyed quilting, bowling and reading good books. Janet worked as volunteer for many roadside cleanup projects in the area. She also gave of her time as an Elections precinct worker. Janet was born June 22, 1938, in Stanley, N.D., to Inez and Leonard Stringer. Janet is survived by her husband of 50 years, Eugene Garcez; her father Leonard Stringer Sr.; Son Eric Garcez; Daughters, Sallie Dietrich; Beverly Wheeler; Brother, Leonard Stringer Jr.; Sisters Patricia Stanaski; Karen Arnold; four Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A prayer service and visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday Dec. 14, at Bueler Funeral Home; 143 Arnold Street, in Camp Verde. A graveside service will be at 11 a. m. Friday, Dec. 15 at Resthaven Memorial Park, 6290 W. Northeren in Glendale where Janet will be laid to rest. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the Family.
