Edward Wilson passed away at his home in Prescott, Ariz. on May 7, 2004, at the age of 66. He was born in Long Beach, Calif. on April 7, 1938.

He attended South Mountain High School and, in 1956, left to serve in the Navy as a nuclear technician o&. the USS Kearsarge. Following his honorable discharge, he settled in Southern California, where he worked as a machinist for Goodyear Aerospace.

In 1967, he married his high school sweetheart Tann. Recently, Ed served as regional director of production for Monier/Lifetile until his retirement, in 2001.

Ed was a devoted father; he served as Scoutmaster, Little League coach and Jr. All-American Football coach. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to take his family camping, motorcycle riding, boating, and shooting. Ed was a charter member of a Black Powder Gun Club, and often traveled to AlasKa on hunting expeditions.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jann; four children, Jerry and Bernadette, Jodie and Glenn, Tom and Jennifer, and Todd; three grandchildren, Michael, Emily and Hayley; sister, RoseMarie Wilson of Raleigh, N.C.; and brother, Vie and Connie Lackey of Burbank, Calif.

Services will be held in the chapel at North Phoenix Baptist Church, 5757 North Central Avenue, in Phoenix, on May 13 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Dan Yeary officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations Can be made to the Prescott Valley Hospice, 3262 Windsong Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86314.
