Geneva M. Rock, 79, of Camp Verde Ariz., passed away August 15, 2002.

Visitation Monday, August 19, 2002, 4-7 p.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, Ariz.

Services Tuesday, August 20, 2002, 10 a.m. at Camp Verde United Methodist Church, 480 1st St., Camp Verde.

Contributions to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326. Arrangements by Westcott Funeral Home.

Geneva Merle Rock

Born in Canby, Minnesota on Sep. 24, 1922
Departed on Aug. 15, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ.

Geneva Merle Rock, 79, of Camp Verde died August 15. She was born September 24, 1922 in Canby, Minnesota.

She was a member of the Camp Verde United Methodist Church; she volunteered at the Camp Verde Library for years. She was an accomplished artist (oil on canvas) and enjoyed other crafts. She loved traveling and camping and had a wide circle of friends.

Mrs. Rock is survived by her husband, Gail Rock; daughter, Patricia Schladt, Davenport, Ia.; sons, Gail Rock, Jr., Curtiss Rock and Darrell Rock, all of Phoenix; Earle Rock, Clinton, Ia. and Perry Rock, Bloomington, Ill.; brother, Gilbert Bliss, Canby, Minn.; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 19 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20 in the Camp Verde United Methodist Church at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow be in the Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326.
