The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 31, 2006 Merle A. Bondurant, 82, died peacefully in his sleep on Aug. 27, 2006. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Merle served in the U.S. Army and recently retired from over 45 years as a barber. Merle moved his family to Prescott in 1978, where he worked as a barber. He sang in a quartet with his brother for many years. He will be buried next to his wife, Sandy, to whom he was married for 36 years. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Heritage Memory Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery. Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with the arrangements.
