| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, February 4, 2007 Carl (Jack) Seitz, 69, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Jack was born in Reading, Pennsylvannia on February 25, 1937 to Carl Frederick and Anna Marguerite (Hetrich) Seitz. In 1957 Jack married the love of his life, Shirley Jacobs, and in 1959 they moved to Phoenix. Then in 1974 they made their last move to the Verde Valley. Jack was the husband of Shirley Seitz, Sr.; the father of Maria Hanna, Eric Seitz with his wife, Shirley Jr., and Jeffrey Seitz with his wife, Jill; the grandfather of Eric Graham Seitz, Jack Perkins Seitz, Joshua David Hanna, Brittany Jeanette Johnson, Jamie Blan, and Ryan Blan; and the great-grandfather of Chloe, Carlean, Priscilla, Julian, and Micheal. There will be a celebration of Life held on Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 11:00 am 3:00 pm at the American Legion Post 25, 480 South Calvary Way, in Cottonwood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions made in Jack's name be sent to either the Mingus Union High School Future Farmers of America Program, 1801 E. Fir Ave, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326, or to the Verde Historical Society, 1 N. Willard Street, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326. |
