Lois Marie (Woehlke) Hallett

Lois Marie Woehlke Hallett, 80, formerly of Douglas, Ariz., died Nov. 19, 2008, at the Arizona Pioneer's Home in Prescott, Ariz. She was born May 27, 1928, in Milwaukee, Wis.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alfred Franklin Hallett; her brother, Lee Woehlke; and her infant grandson, Robert Thomas Hallett Wise.

Lois moved to Arizona to attend the University of Arizona and was proud of being an alumni. She received her BS in home economics in 1950. She and Al met at the UofA and lived in San Manuel and Mammoth before they moved to Utica, N.Y., where all of their children were born. They returned to Arizona in 1963 and settled in Douglas where they lived until their move to Chino Valley in 2002.

Lois is survived by her brothers Les Woehlke and Len (wife Ethel) Woehlke; son Edward (Flagstaff, Ariz.); daughters Dorothy Coffman (husband Dennis, Carpinteria, Calif.) and Nancy Marie Wise (husband Willie, Chino Valley, Ariz.); and grandchildren Kevin and Bonnie-Rose Wise.
