| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, October 1, 2007 John Stockhill passed away Wed., Jan. 3, 2007 at New Horizons Adult Care Home in Chino Valley, Ariz. after a year long battle with cancer. John was born Nov. 20, 1917 in Miles City, Montana. He married Hazel Hedges on November 25, 1940. They lived in Miles City, Mont. and he owned and ran John Stockhill Jewelers in Miles City and Sydny, Mont. until he retired in 1994 and moved to Prescott, Ariz. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Hazel, who passed October 24, 2004. He is survived by one brother Larry Stockhill of Kalispell, Mont.; his children, John Stockhill Jr., wife Sue of Chino Valley, Mary Ann Liles, husband Jim of Miles City, Mont., Pamela Kirch, husband Steve of Zumbrota, Minn. and Debra Stockhill Wilson, husband Doug of Woodbury, Minn.; grandchildren, Waide Stockhill, wife Jennifer of Phoenix, Ariz., Benjamin Stockhill of Mesa, Ariz., Nathan Liles, wife Wendy of Sedona, Ariz., Ryan Liles, wife Mandy of Atascadero, Calif., Kacey Byers and Drew Kirch, of Zumbrota, Minn., Katy Wilson of Woodbury, Minn.; and two great granddaughters, Samantha Stockhill of Mont. and Savannah Liles of Sedona, Ariz. Final arrangements have been handled by Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home of Prescott, Arizona. Information provided by survivors. |
