| Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Richard (Rick) Eric Meacham, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22nd. Rick was born October 14, 1954 in Warren Pennsylvania. Flagstaff has been his home for over 30 years. At the time of his death, he was employed at Speedie & Associates as a Special Inspector. Previously he was employed by the City of Flagstaff for many years as the Building and Safety Director. Rick is survived by his four children: Rachael, Christopher and Kelsey of Pennsylvania and Jay of Arizona; siblings Dory Hardy, Sara Ray and Marcie Huey; nephews Mike Ray, Taylor and Drew Huey and niece Mollie Huey. He is proceeded in death by his mother Molly and father Richard. Rick had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved music, his job, and his family and friends. He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at 6pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary on Historic Route 66. There will be a gathering of friends and family after the memorial. "Beyond the door, there's peace I'm sure, and I know there'll be no more tears in heaven." |
