Lloyd McDonald, rural Winterset

Services for Lloyd Willford McDonald, 76, rural Winterset, who died as the result of an accident at his residence Oct. 20, were held Wednesday Oct. 22, at the Collin Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was at the North McDonald Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on March 10, 1910, he was the son of Thomas and Fannie McGinnis McDonald. He was a retired farmer and had lived for 44 years at his farm and spent his entire lifetime in Madison County. He was a member of the Methodist church.

On Dec. 30, 1933, he was married to Wilma Parker in Polk County.

She survives along with a son, Dennis McDonald of Winterset; a daughter, Norma Kay Wildin of St. Charles; brothers, Ray of Sac City and Wayne of Cornville, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Naylor of Mesa, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter and a brother.
