Dr C Janet Lloyd, 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, in Peoria, Ariz. Dr Lloyd was born on Aug 22, 1921, and raised in Charlotte, Mich. by her loving parents Frank and Ada Redick. She shared their home with eight siblings.

Dr Lloyd was preceded in death by her loving husband Dr Roger Lloyd with whom she had a son, Roger Jr, who lives in Pittsford, NY, with his wife, Joan, and a daughter, Andrea Berglund, who resides in Pauma Valley, Calif., with her husband, William.

Dr Lloyd was a graduate of the University of Alabama with a PHD in "Continuing Education of Hospital Administration." Before moving to Alabama, Dr Lloyd and her husband built a beautiful home, of their own design, in the rural Madison, Wis., area. In retirement, Dr Lloyd and her husband converted a Trailways bus into a gorgeous motor home with which they traveled throughout our nation for a number of years. After they finished traveling, they settled in the Prescott/Chino Valley area of Arizona where they became members of The First Baptist Church of Prescott. Dr Lloyd's last home was in Black Canyon City, Ariz., where she was a member of the Calvary Chapel, Lions Club and the Red Hat Society. Dr Lloyd was a life-long Republican and a horse lover. She took great pride in her miniature horse, Moonlight, which she loved to hitch up to her little buggy. She also loved her little poodles, Dee Dee and Spice, whom she liked to dye pink and green at Easter time.

Dr Lloyd leaves behind seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 6pm Aug 4, 2011, in the Calvary Chapel, Black Canyon City, Ariz.
