Peggy Ann Stromer, age 75, a resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, after a 4 month battle with cancer. She was born April 15, 1931 to Harvey and Martha Merriman in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

She was a self-employed bookkeeper in Phoenix, and became an enrolled agent for the IRS before she retired.

She loved all animals, large and small, but especially her loyal companion, Oreo. She had a deep and abiding faith in God, which guided her and gave her comfort throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Stromer. She will be sweetly remembered by her two daughters and their spouses, Sandra and Jay Parker of Vassar, Michigan, and Elizabeth and Larry Lloyd of Cottonwood, Arizona; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 1500 W. Maryland Ave., in Phoenix, Arizona.
