The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, November 15, 2008 Mary Lou Swan Irby, 93, died Nov. 13, 2008, at the Emerald Hill Adult Care in Prescott. Mary Lou began her amazing life June 3, 1915, in Port Arthur, Texas. One of six children, she was born to James and Katie Swan. Mary spent her childhood in Port Arthur and Chambersburg, Ill. She graduated from high school in Port Arthur and attended Business College. Mary moved to Arizona with her husband and children in the early l960s. She is survived by her son Donald Irby (Janis), and daughter Peggy Irby; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Mary will be laid to rest next to Ford at Citizen Cemetery in Flagstaff on Monday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Hospice.
