Nadine May Weller, 56, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died Nov. 7, 2008. She was born Sept. 9, 1952 in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Frank and Audrey Amaya.

Mrs. Weller enjoyed jewelry-making, Scrabble and the Red Hat Society. Her motto was that there were no strangers, just friends she hadn't met yet.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dennis Weller; a daughter Dana Ruben of Cottonwood, Ariz.; two brothers, Mark Amaya of San Francisco, Calif., and Brian Amaya of Washington; a sister Betty Amaya of New York; and one grandchild.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
