Eda Belle (Snyder) Crawford

Eda Belle Crawford was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Powell, Wyo. She died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Flagstaff on Oct. 18, 2008.

She was 92 years old.

Eda Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Lee G. Snyder and Eda Belle Hansen, her husband Noble Ray Crawford and her brother Charles Theodore Snyder.

She came to Northern Arizona and Verde Valley when she was 5 years old and lived in Clarkdale, Cottonwood, Mayer, Holbrook, Sedona and most recently Flagstaff among several other Northern Arizona towns.

She owned a store in Mayer and Sedona with her husband Noble Ray Crawford. Her pride was her shop in Sedona during the 1960s. She also owned and operated a grocery store in Mayer for many years.

Eda Belle is survived by her children Tom (Nancy) Crawford of Page Springs, Jerry (Linda) Crawford of Sedona, and Judy (Garry) Hoffman of Flagstaff, by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will by Saturday, Nov. 1, 2 p.m., in the Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. The family wishes to thank Northland Hospice for their help and kindness.

Eda Belle Crawford, 92, died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Flagstaff on Oct. 18, 2008.

Mrs. Crawford was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Powell, Wyo. She was dearly loved by her great-grandsons.
