Camp Verde resident Dorothy Keener died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at the age of 93 in Cottonwood, Ariz. She was the daughter of John V. and Etta Myrtle (Fattig) Dillon. She was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Keokuk County, Iowa.

Dorothy received her education as a beautician, following which she became the successful owner and operator of her own beauty salon. She was married to the late William John Keener.

She leaves behind her daughters, Donna Scott Connor of Bermuda Dunes, Calif., and Karen Hall (Doug) of Camp Verde, Ariz.; two sisters, Mildred Dillon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Marjorie Siggins (Kenneth) of Lisbon, Iowa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Parkside Community Church in Camp Verde, where funeral services were held for her Oct. 14.

Interment will take place at Resthave Park Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz.
