The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, October 09, 2008 William (Bill) Nowman, 76, of Cottonwood, formerly of Camp Verde, died Oct. 5, 2008, at Hospice of the Valley. He was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Sarcoxie, Mo. Bill lived in the Verde Valley for 22 years and was retired military, and had an interest in woodworking. He was president of the Eureka Ditch for 10 years. Bill is survived by his wife, Esther Nowman, his sisters Margaret and Sharlene and brother Edward, children Linda Nowman, Mike (Denise) Nowman and Jeanne (Mark) Martinez, 10 grand children and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be Oct. 11, 2 p.m., at Parkside Community Church, 105 Camp Lincoln Road, Camp Verde. |
