The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, September 09, 2008 Louis Wayne Cox of Cottonwoo, Ariz. died Aug. 23 in Phoenix. He was born June 29, 1941, in Plymouth, Ind., to Albert Neal Cox and Goldie May Sturgeon Mr. Cox was a former member of the Camp Verde United Methodist Church and most recently attended Verde Baptist Church. He was employed at Cottonwood Village Retirement Center and was a member of the Cottonwood -American Legion Post #25, and the Camp Verde Cavalry Mounted Drill Team. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Susan A Cox; five children, Doreen Atterberry, Monica Nyman, Travis Newby, Nicole Mego and Melissa Fairchild, all of Idaho; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial for Mr. Cox will be held at Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood Sept. 13. |
