| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, September 25, 2008 Derek Christopher Serene, 2, of Cottonwood, died Sept. 22. Derek was born July 3, 2006, in Cottonwood, the son of Alex and Felicia Serene. Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Logan Alexander Serene; his maternal grandparents, Les and Darlene Parson of Cottonwood and Eric and Jancine Serene of Lake Montezuma. A visitation will be held for Derek today, Sept. 26, 11 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cottonwood. The funeral will follow at noon. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Donations may be made in the name of Derek Christopher Serene at Chase Bank, Erin Mabery c/o Alex Serene, Account # 2913930471.
