| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, October 02, 2008 Mary M. Staten, 60, of Cornville, Ariz. died on Sept. 29, 2008, in Cottonwood, Ariz. Born April 17, 1948, in Lake Charles, La., she was the daughter of David and Mary LaCour. Mary was a member of the Faith Tabernacle and the Pastor's Wife. Professionally, she was a registered nurse. Mary had a great love for people, and she enjoyed entertaining. Mary leaves behind her loving husband of 39 years, David Staten of Cornville; two sons, David (Aimee) Staten of Thatcher, Ariz. and Mark (Heather) Staten of Cornville, Ariz.; her brother, David (Jennifer) Staten of Houston, Texas; six sisters, Betty (Albert) Zielke of Puyallup, Wash., Audrey (Harry) Olson Vancouver, Wash., Ethel Rohrer, Erlene LaCour, Evelyn LaCour, and Elaine (Randy) Bradley of Cerritos, Calif.; and one grandchild. A Memorial Service was held at Westcott Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. Mary will be laid to rest in Clarkdale at the Valley View Cemetery.
