Schuyler T. Lucas, 70, of Cottonwood, passed away December 9, 2008. He was born October 26, 1938 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Vance and Jasmine Lucas.

Schuyler had been in the Navy, was a banker and computer programmer, Recreation Department Director in Wheatland, Wyoming, and Senior Accountant at Rohr, Industries in San Diego, California. Schuyler most recently owned and operated Copies 'N More in Cottonwood, Arizona until 2001.

Schuyler loved woodworking, building clocks, gardening, as well as RV travel. He was passionate about his hobbies and created beautiful keepsakes and memories.

Schuyler loved his family and was very proud of his Wyoming Heritage, including his great-grandfather Franklin E. Lucas, who had been governor of Wyoming. He is survived by his beloved wife Bobby, children Douglas Lucas (Renee), Robin Kuss (Ray), Blake Lucas, and one grandchild, Taylor Lucas. He is also survived by one brother Vance (Erma), and three sisters, Tobin Ratliff (Bill), Karen Seney (Ralph), and Blythe Bolinger (Preston). His parents, Vance and Jasmine Lucas, and one brother, Jim Lucas, preceded him in death.

Schuyler's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. at St Thomas Episcopal Church in Clarkdale (889 S 1st St Clarkdale, AZ). Memorials may be made to the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Choir.
