| The Modesto Bee, Modesto, Calif. Monday, September 30, 1996 March 12, 1943 -- Sept. 25, 1996 Norman "Norm" Morris, 53, of Prescott, Ariz., died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Morris was a native of Merced, Calif., where he lived until 1961. He was a drilling production supervisor for Texaco in Santa Maria 27 years. He previously lived in the Chino Valley eight years before moving to Prescott, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Jane Morris of Prescott, Ariz.; children, Marian Jones of Marysville, Mark Morris of Mariposa, Calif., Kevin Morris of Reno, and Glen Morris of Coleville, Wash.; two stepdaughters and a stepson, all of Arizona; his father and stepmother, Irvin and Esther Morris, both of Los Banos; a brother, Steve Morris of Winton; sisters, Sandra Dahlgren, Phyllis Schelinder, Judy Luthey and Cindy Butrym, all of Merced, and Myrna McKean of Wilton; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Stratford Evans Merced Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today at the chapel. |
