Janice Lea Bratt, 76, died Monday, March 8, 2004 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona. She was born December 24, 1927 in Tempe, Arizona, the daughter of Benoni and Naomi (Haubecker) Coleman.

Janice graduated from Phoenix Union High School and worked as a Beautician in the Phoenix area.

Janice met and later married the love of her life, Don Bratt on April 26, 1953.

The couple moved to Parker in 1969 where they operated an Ice company and beauty salon and in 1976 they moved to Prescott.

Janice was very active in the Soroptimist as past president and life member. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, she also loved to spend time with her grand and great grandchildren and give time to her whole family. She was very proud of her family.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Barry Bratt in 1999. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 50 years Don, her children and their spouses; Belinda and Charlie McDowell of Parker, Arizona, Ben and Julie Bratt of Hayfield, California and Barbara and Mirando Ketner of Case Grande, Arizona. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Stephanie, Neal, Byron, Stacie, Drew, Mandy, Crystal, Tyler, Jezmine, Justy and Steven and her great-grandchildren; Brooks, Isabelle, Hunter, Korbyn and Tyson, Jr.

A Celebration of Janice's life will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott with Chaplain Jim Price officiating.

A private cremation will follow at the Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
