| Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood, Arizona Sylvia A. Snowden, 98 of Cottonwood, passed away on October 29, 2011. She was born on October 1, 1913 in Berger, MO to Alfred Fred Bade and Rosa Louise Tinnemeyer. Sylvia attended Hermann High School in Hermann, Missouri. She worked as a shoe packer at a wholesale shoe company. She was a 73 year member of Rebekkah as of 2011. She belonged to Mountain View United Methodist and the Rebekkah Lodge. Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband Purl Harry Snowden and sister Florence Bade. She is survived by cousins Mary Lou Phipps of Decatur, IL, Darlene Howell of New York, Sonnie Miller of Herman, MO, Georgia Zeinert of Belleville, IL and her beloved dog Susie. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Hermann, Missouri. Donations may be made to the Humane Society.
