James Alton Rabbitt, age 70, passed away Dec. 6, 2008. Jim was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Silverspring, Md.

Married to devoted wife Carol since 1960, they shared many happy memories of traveling and spending time with family and friends.

He moved to Chino Valley in 1993. Jim was well-known on the show car circuit and known by his closest friends for his misadventures with "Jack."

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon and survived by his sister Peggy Ingberg; daughter Gina Pringle of Cypress, Calif.; son Dean Rabbitt of Riverside, Calif.; and seven grandsons, Larry Jakob, Steven Jakob, Marcus Rabbitt, Nico Rabbitt, Brian Voelker, James Voelker and Jonathan Voelker.

Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at the VA Chapel in Prescott.

Chino Valley Funeral Home is caring for the family.
