The Post-Standard, Syracuse, New York Thursday, December 19, 1991 Former Syracuse resident Eugene E. Brentlinger, 76, died Nov. 10 in Arizona. A native of Lima, Ohio, Mr. Brentlinger lived several years in Syracuse before moving to Arizona in 1988. He retired in 1976 as a senior rehabilitation counselor after 23 years with the New York State Department of Education. Mr. Brentlinger was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are two sons, Todd of Weedsport and Randy of Syracuse; two daughters, Cindy Yates of Rochester and Lorie Gill of Dewey, Ariz.; a brother, Carroll of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Irene Watson of Maryland and Ladonna Hazlett of South Carolina; and six grandchildren. Services were conducted in Arizona. Sunrise Funeral Home, Prescott Valley, Ariz., had charge of arrangements. |
