Jane G. Clark, 46, former store owner

Jane G. (Gilligan) Clark, 46, of Prescott, Ariz., and formerly of Sheffield, the owner of Yarns, a needlework store, and an employee of H & R Block Inc., died April 22 in Prescott.

She had also been a representative for Gerry Designs Co. in Colorado.

Born in Canaan, Conn., she was graduated valedictorian from Mount Everett Regional High School in Sheffield in 1963. She attended Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, and was graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1968.

She moved to Arizona in 1973.

She leaves her husband, James Clark; a son, Daniel S. McMakin, and a daughter, Heather A. McMakin, both of Prescott; her mother, Margaret (Griffith) Gilligan of Great Barrington, and a niece.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday morning at Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington.

Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home of Great Barrington is in charge.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Coalition of Cancer Survivorship, in care of the funeral home.
