Artemisa (Alice) Figueroa, 96, of Queen Creek, Ariz., died February 9, 2003 in Apache Junction, Ariz. She was born December 23, 1906 in Tempe, Ariz. to Ramon and Carmen Valenzuela, she graduated from Tempe High School in 1927.

Alice married Gus Figueroa from Phoenix in 1937 and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter Cecilia Figueroa of Richmond City, California several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie.

A rosary will be said Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 5:30 pm, followed by a mass at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Queen Creek.

Burial will take place Thursday, February 13 at 11:00 am at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Mesa Heritage Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
