The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, June 29, 2005 Betty Louise Stinson of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away the morning of June 24, 2005. She was born June 25th, 1930 to Robert L. and Florence Luterding in Phoenix, Ariz. Betty had been employed by the Bell System in different job assignments during her career. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She loved people and had many friends with whom she stayed in touch from her high school days in Clarkdale, her time at the University of Arizona and her work at Mountain Bell. She left all of us a lot of good memories. She is survived by her son, Gary Stinson and his wife, Sharon; sister, Ann Grubbs; brothers, Ron and Don Hoover; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, sons, William Robert Stinson and George Louis Stinson and her brother, Robert Luterding. Memorial Services will be held at Hansen Chapel at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 2nd at 8314 N. 7th St. in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Valley. |
